I got to experience taking photos of different images in Florida. I enjoyed this because I'm in the worlds most magical place on earth. In other words, I am in Disney World for the semester for my internship. The first photo of Cinderella's castle in Walt Disney World shows balance. Balance is when colors, textures, forms, or shapes are combined together. In the picture, you can see the balance of the different colors from the castle. The top of the castle is purple, while the the bottom of the castle is a mixture of pink and orange. The castle is also making a reflection into the water, which allows you to see the bottom of the castle reflected.
The second photo is of Disney's Resort the Grand Floridian. This shows shape because lines are combined to form different shapes. The shapes you can see are triangles at the top of the resort. There is also squares in the windows. At the top of the resort, you can see the middle triangle and then inside that triangle there is four other triangles formed.
The third photo is showing movement because the dog is in motion while he carries the frisbee. You can tell the dog is in motion because his legs are in the air and so are his ears. The fourth picture is of a leaf. This shows line because of the line through the middle of the leaf. There are also lines that string off of that line. The lines are used to create the shape of the leaf.
The fifth picture is taken as Disney's Resort in Animal Kingdom. It is of zebras in the area Disney has for them. This picture is to show unity because the patterns on the zebra as well as the colors are combined to create unity. This picture could as well be used as pattern because of the zebra stripes on each zebra.
The next picture is of Cinderella's castle during the firework show "Wishes." The color of the castle is purple with what appears to be "pixie dust." Personally, the castle is my favorite thing about Disney and now that I am in an art class I can appreciate the art behind it more. The castle changes colors throughout the night and capturing a picture at the right color you want takes getting it at the exact moment. This picture can show emphasis because your view is directed to the color of the castle. The picture of the water shows pattern because it is a repetition of shape from the reflection.
The picture of the little girl holding the ballon shows proportion because the ballon is much bigger than her head. The different sizes are combined in this picture. The size of the ballon itself is bigger than the size of the Mickey face in the ballon, which is different than the size of Mickey's ears.
The photo that shows color is one takes at Disney's Park, Epcot. There are many different colors in this photo. The photo contains yellow, red, green, blue, white, and black. These are all basic colors. There aren't any bright neon colors. All these colors go together because they are darker shades. The photo taken of the ground shows texture because there are circles that appear to be popped up. You can imagine what this may feel like as you look at the picture.
Contrast is show by the picture of the sand with the water and the little beach shovel. The contrast from the water brings your attention to the shovel that is in the sand. There is also a reflection from the sun that you can see in the water, which is a yellowish orange color. The horses nose shows value because it is a mixture of light and dark. This photo was changed to black and white. The bright blue eggs show form because they are shapes which include length and width. This picture could also show lines because of the bird's nest. Lastly, space is shown in the last photo because of the different heights of the sticks and branches.
